A 200-board open needs 200 sets that look, feel, and play identical — boards flat enough for blitz, pieces weighted the same across every box, clocks that behave the same on board 1 and board 200. One odd set breaks the illusion.
That's why organizers send us their event calendar, not just a quantity. We schedule production backwards from their first round: 30 days for a full container, spare pieces boxed per 10 boards, every batch checked against the same sample board.
